Can I use one code on two computers?
No. A code is generated against one machine's fingerprint, so it only validates there. Sharing it does nothing for anyone else, which is why codes are not secret.
What if I reinstall Windows or change my hardware?
The machine id changes, so your code stops matching. Send me the new id and I will issue a replacement. No charge, no limit on how often.
I have a laptop and a desktop. What then?
That is two codes. Message me rather than buying twice at full price and we will sort it out.
Why do I have to message you to activate?
Because there is no licence server. The alternative is a server that has to be paid for and kept online forever, and that cost ends up in the price. One message, once, is what keeps the price where it is.
Does it need internet?
Only to install and to download the speech model once. After that it runs completely offline, including transcription. No licence check phones home, because there is nothing for it to phone.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. Transcription runs on your own machine with a local model. Your footage and audio never leave your computer.
Which languages work?
English out of the box. Other languages work by switching to a multilingual model in Settings, though accuracy varies by language and accent. Try it before you rely on it.
How long does a caption run take?
A minute of speech takes roughly a minute on an ordinary CPU with the default model. Smaller models are faster and less accurate; the first run is slower because the model downloads.
Does it render anything?
Not normally. It reads the audio file in your comp directly, which is instant. It only renders the mix as a last resort, when reading the file has already failed, and it says so in the console when that happens.
Will it match my caption style exactly?
It copies the layer you give it, so font, size, colour, stroke, tracking, effects and expressions all carry over. What changes is the text and the timing of your Offset keyframes.
Some words come out wrong. What do I do?
Switch to a larger model in Settings, and put names, brands or jargon into the vocabulary hint. The console also lists the words the model itself was least sure about, with timecodes, so you know where to check.
Can I control how many words per caption?
Yes, in the panel's options. Line breaking is automatic though: each caption takes one line or two depending on how long it is, which is what makes a video look natural rather than uniform.
What if I do not like the result?
One Ctrl+Z removes the entire run, every caption at once. Change a setting and go again.
How do I actually pay?
Message me first and I send payment details back — UPI or bank transfer within India, PayPal or Wise from anywhere else. There is no card form on this site, which also means no card details ever pass through it.
Why is there no Buy button?
Because your activation code has to be made for your specific computer, I am part of the process anyway. Adding a checkout would not remove a step, it would just add a payment processor's fee to the price.
Is it really one payment?
Yes. Twenty-four ninety-nine, once, including free updates across the 2.x series. There is no subscription and no usage cost, because nothing runs on a server that would need paying for.
Can I get a refund?
Ask before buying if you are unsure it suits your setup. Tell me your After Effects version and how your captions are built and I will tell you honestly whether it will help.
